Meet the Family

Chris was checking his emails early in the morning (for the rest of the house - it was 9am), he had a new email. It was from his Mum. Oh no he thought what does she want? This was most peculiar, he had sent her loads of emails over the time he had been in America, and not one was replied to. Until now. What had changed, was she alright? Had something happened? He was reluctant to open it, reluctant to view the bad news. He slowly moved the mouse and clicked on the email. It was very bad news! He looked over to Lauren who still in bed, looking so serene. he continued to read it feeling his heart drop further with every word. He truly couldn't believe the extent this woman was going to... only to see Chris' new Girlfriend! He closed down the computer and got back on the bed carefully as to not wake Lauren. How am i going to tell her? he thought sitting there waiting for Lauren to wake up.
